LAS VEGAS – Authorities say the son of 2 years, the former Eagles quarterback Randall Cunningham of Philadelphia died after he apparently drowned in a courtyard spa.

Las Vegas police Lt. Dennis Flynn said that there appeared to have been an accident. He said a woman in the house with other children found the boy around 4:30 pm on Tuesday and began trying to resuscitate.

The child was pronounced dead on the campus of Santa Rosa Dominican Hospital Siena Henderson.

Cunningham favorite UNLV and played for 16 years in the NFL, especially for the Philadelphia Eagles.
